I got woken up by my daughter's phone at 5.30am - couldn't seem to get back to sleep so what better thing to do than try on clothes? Was great fun! I also had to consider what I would actually wear today as it was going to be a team lunch event and I felt like celebrating whatever currently just began fitting me in case the team lunch left me a bit fatter than before :)
So I realised that the outfit I wore to my job interview there in Dec 2014 fits me now even better than it did then - It is a bit formal-formal and I haven't worn it to work since, as they have a casual-formal code but I thought it would be perfect for today.
To top off the great day (as if that isn't enough) we went to ASK and I had already mentally prepared myself to not be having my usual lunch fare, and to just pick whatever I liked and enjoy the detour, so I chose the (whatever they call it) chicken and mushroom risotto... then the last person to order at our table (the person of honour of the team lunch - our newest team member) suddenly asks if anyone will go half with her on a pizza - Filled with team-spirit and thinking rapidly that half a pizza is probably less calories than a whole risotto, I do the honourable thing. And she only wants the margarita - not my favourite pizza, but less calories than any of the others -Woo Hoo!
So I end up wearing my latest 'happy it fits me nicely' outfit, not eating nearly as many calories as I thought I would have to do, AND - at the end of the meal our boss says nobody needs to pay as he takes the bill himself.
We were all happy to have paid and expecting to pay - but we were just as happy (probably much happier, come to think of it) to not have to :)

This may not be a very accurate reading as I didn't have a spare D type battery and haven't been able to get to a shop tonight.
But the scale showed me 187.0 this morning, and I don't trust the number enough to record what I saw, so I'll record 188 for now.
(I always get on the scale 2 or 3 times before I believe the number I see, and the scale didn't have enough battery juice to cope with my triple try)

Scale been acting a bit oddly, like the difference between night time and morning time readings not making sense, or the number varying too much if I step back on to check it.
So, this morning it wasn't a surprise to see 'Lo' which means the battery wants replacing.
I haven't really been doing anything different than usual, but I will have to wait till tomorrow to find out for sure what I weigh.

So - a special number. This means I've lost 5 stone since my 260lb start.
But maybe even more exciting than that, today is when I try on an old pair of jeans thinking, ok, lets see how far away am I from these fitting me again, - and they fit already!
Of course these are not the pair of jeans I really want to fit me - those are another two sizes down... but I'm on the way there and I'm beginning to think I really might make it.
