There’s the gain I’ve been expecting.
But it’s all good because I got control back starting Memorial Day. I’m back to recording calories and staying under 2000. I will start exercising again soon, I’m just not feeling it right now…

After my surgery 2 weeks ago, I let myself splurge on anything I wanted, because poor me. It started with a few small treats like brownies and Eggos, then moved up to the big league with pizza (several nights), Chinese, ice cream on the regular, bread/bread/bread. Every morning I tried to start a diet but said “ah screw it” just as my worst fears predicted. I can’t seem to get control back.
To my surprise, I actually lost weight this week… So my thoughts are perhaps I’ve lost water from not drinking enough, or I’m losing muscle from not exercising, or else my hysterectomy corrected some imbalance but that really wouldn’t explain eating 2000+ calories each day without gaining… Anyway it’s noon and I’ve promised today is the day to get off sugar, and next week will get back to walking/cycling again.

My surgery was last week and I’ve allowed myself to eat anything and everything, in a bad way. Brownies, pizza, all of it. I’ll get back on HMR soon to reset.

Hysterectomy is coming up this Thursday, once I bounce back I’ll start exercising again. I’m very happy with my weight, I worked hard to get here (almost 50 pounds lost in 6 months) and I want this to be permanent! Also I have lots of toning to do :)
