So far, it seems like the zig zag dieting (NOT to be confused with yo-yo dieting!!) is working! After working really hard last week, and making my 10 lbs lost goal (!!!), I was super exhausted and STARVING on Saturday. I indulged in my day of rest and ate waaaay more than I intended, probably somewhere around 2300-2400 calories, which is 700-800 more than I normally allow myself! Obviously, my weight shot back up a little on Sunday to around 211.2, but I was good yesterday, eating only a little over my limit (keeping the nutrient ratios good and my sodium relatively low and my fiber relatively high!), and I was pleased to find that my weight came right back down today!

I was noticing toward the end of last week that my weight loss was plateauing a bit at the end of the week, so I'm hoping that eating more calories on Saturday and Wednesday every week will help keep my energy levels up and keep my metabolism burning high!

I'm feeling really really good today! I'm feeling in control and I'm actually really excited about today's workout! I hope some other people out there are as motivated today as I am! You can do it too!

I'm down to 211.2!!! That's a 0.8 lb loss overnight :D I don't want to log my weight though until after Saturday, which is my official weigh in day! I hope I reach my 10 lbs lost goal by Saturday! Then Syl90 and I are going to go get pedicures as a reward for our hard work! And, man, could my feet use a massage....

Once I had my shakeology yesterday and realized how close I was to my goal, it was really easy to stick to my meal plan and make sure I pushed myself at my workout! Though it's going to be an interesting test over these next few days since I got my monthly visitor today. The good news is that I have my chocolate shakeology when I crave chocolate :D

I'm still detoxing a bit, so I have a cough, and when I went to the Kroger to check my blood pressure for giggles (I've almost always had pretty low blood pressure), I was surprised to see that my blood pressure was just above normal in the 'hypertension' zone. Though I'm pretty sure this is just due to being overweight and detoxing, I'm glad that I'm taking care of things now!

It's been a long time since I've written, so I'll try to sum everything up! I love love love T25! The workouts are great and the diet plan is really easy to follow. I was able to stick to it for about 3.5 weeks, right up until Christmas Day, and then my diet was really bad for about a week. Too many cookies, and fatty foods high in salt. Not enough working out. Though, miraculously, I only gained 2 pounds while I was gone (up to 215), but I gained about 1.5 inches in my waist :(. I came back to school just after new years, and a friend of mine and I did a two day detox over the weekend, which helped, and now I'm in my first week back on the bandwagon. I'm 2 lbs away from my 10 lbs lost goal!! I'm going to try and meet that goal by the weekend! And when I do, I'm going to reward myself with a pedicure :D

My workout buddy and I decided to restart the Alpha phase of T25, since Christmas kind of screwed it up, and now we're going to be distraction free for a few weeks. I'm really excited to get back on the bandwagon, but I'm still struggling a little with detoxing. I'm going to try extra hard to eat clean now that I'm so close to my goal! Also, gotta make sure I hydrate!!

I hope everyone who reads this has a fit day!
