HOLY CRAP! I am below 280! Below 280 milestone achieved.
I wasn't expecting it when I stepped on the scale. My last weight check was 284 and I did some heavy work in the heat so I was expecting inflammation to be a factor.
It has been a very long time since I have been below 280. I am amazed and I feel giddy 😁
Next milestone is only 1.9 pounds away. At 277.9, I will be within 100 pounds of my goal weight! As it is right now, I am within 70 pounds of the high end of my ideal weight range. THIS is motivational!

Ok, I may have to go back to daily weigh-ins. Clearly I am not doing as well with the weekly weigh-ins. My weekly movement stats has me exceeding the daily target by 29%. My food choices have been within reason as are the portions.
Ok. New day, new opportunity. Get back to losing that weight!

Ok, I didn't officially weigh in last week because of the heavy exercise (7.5 hours of heavy yardwork) and I was inflamed. I did check my weight and it was WAY above a normal fluctuation, it came down on Tuesday but still high.
I am higher than my last weigh in but that is probably from a couple of diet choices as well as some inflammation. I walked the dogs and did some outdoor work in the heat. My solar panel turned bright red as a result 😄
Ok, time to run in the elephant 🐘 and back to portion control. Next week I will be lower than last week!

Well, it's been a week since my last weigh in. I did peek once during the week so not a perfect don't look at the scale week but I am at a new record low!
I was shocked when I saw the scale as I was expecting either a slight decrease or the dreaded increase. So, apparently, I can lose weight without stepping on the scale everyday.
I did notice one negative thing abandoning the daily weigh in, I did not track my meals consistently and it was hard at times to remember what I ate later. I need to correct this without anchoring to the daily scale.
Ok. So very close to the next three milestone: below 280, 30 pounds lost, and less than 100 pounds to the goal weight. I can and will do this!

Yep, it's up a pound but I think it is directly due to inflammation. I did a lot of work this weekend and am sore everywhere! Still in a good zone.
