Ok, I know I am not supposed to be scale obsessive BUT today I am below 282! Another low record for the year! I don't know how many years it has been since I was this low but at least six. Combine that with a co-worker randomly saying that I've lost weight and look good and you have a very happy camper!
I did look at my daily activity levels since 2015 and the good news is that I do average above the minimum and for one month the average was 3 hours! So without planning it, I move quite a bit each day. I don't reach the goal every day but I do average it over the month. What was interesting is that after my most active day of all, it was followed by my least active day.
So, with the good vibes of the day, CHARGE forward! 😁😄🤗

Ok, I haven't weighed in for several days as an experiment. Yes, it drove me somewhat crazy because I wanted to know! 😄. Well, what do you know, I went down 1.2 pounds!
So I proved to myself that I can follow the program without the daily weigh in and still lose weight. Of course, I still need to keep going but it is a weight 😉 off my mind.
So today's intention is to take care of my fur baby who just had paw surgery and it's crying right now.

Ugh. I regained the pound! I didn't reach my calorie zone despite eating proud, potatoes, and a sandwich. All of my portions were met with extra room. I was not hungry and fueled. met my movement and step goals. I am not as sore today. So... WHY THE @#$$ DID I GAIN A POUND?!
Even with the non-scale wins of step count, movement, water intake, and portion controls, it is very frustrating to see the scale go up!
How do I motivate myself today? I don't feel like the non-scale wins are doing it for me. I don't want to do am intention for the day. Looking at the weight loss graph shows this month-long plateau.
You know what? Today is an F' IT day. I'm not going to worry about any of it. If I get my steps in, great. If not, great. I'll log everything in the evening but until then, I am not caring.
