Ok, I dropped a pound. I did drink water yesterday meeting my intention. My muscles are still sore so today's intention will be to add the 1 liter of water to the normal and to take a long, hot bath after work to help soothe the muscles.
I am still in the plateau range. it has been going on for nearly the entire month of May. Following the trend of the first four months, I should be in the 270s or possibly the 260s. I needed to reread the article on plateau breakers and develop a strategy.
Doing a body scan, I am more sore on the left side of my body with the exception of lower back pain.
Ok, more water, take care of self, and keep the big picture in mind!

HOLY *@$&-:! I hope everyone is right about the repair mode and water retention. An entire 1.4 pounds!? Yesterday was over 4.5 hours of heavy yardwork and I am more sore than the pickax day.
Ok, what is my non-scale win? I moved... a lot. In addition to the exercise, I did get 13,370 steps in for the day. I went to bed on time and woke up on time. My yard looks great.
What is my intention for the day? Relax and let my body recover, drink a minimum of a liter of water, and maximize my green foods.
Breathe.... exhale. Reality check: I have gained over a pound in the past and it did drop back off in the week. By keeping to the plan, this pattern should repeat.
I've got this and I will continue to lose weight!

Why does my weight always go up after extreme workout? Yesterday, I was using a pick axe in the heat and humidity. My heart rate stayed in the vigorous zone for 30 minutes straight. it's so frustrating.
I don't know how today is going to be. I have a planned road trip that involves three hours of driving and the destination isn't for exercise. The destination will be good for steps though. I need to plan ahead and take some snacks, tea and water for the trip rather than stopping at a convenience store for those.
Ok, keep the mind and program straight. This week I will break the 282 barrier!

Yay! A weigh-in that is outside of the plateau region and is a new record! Doing the happy dance.
Ok, need to keep to the program, especially over Memorial Day weekend. So close to the next two milestones.
Non-scale win yesterday was the realization that I need a new belt. I am at the last hole and the belt is completely loose. I am able to pull it about two to three inches away. These little discoveries are nice.
Mindful eating in three... 1... 2... 3... MINDFUL EATING!
