Today I finally got under 160! I hate how I still feel nervous around food, though. Like this weekend, I am going out for a friends birthday, and I am worried about "wrecking my diet"...Then we are having our neighbors over for supper on Saturday...but you can't avoid all social contact either. We went out for my husbands b-day on Saturday. I have 2 bloody marys, 2 voldka diet cokes, 1/2 crab cake, probably 1/2 serving of nachos (they weren't good!). It was good, because I didn't feel like I was depriving myself too much, and I was able to enjoy myself. But I did have to work out like hell on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday to "punish myself". Anyways, I will see how this weekend goes...

Things are going pretty well with the diet. I finally moved down a bit on the scale, and I am definately in this for the long haul. I truly feel I have found a better way to eat. I have been working out a lot, and am starting to really feel the need to work out each day...

Well, I am on day 22 of this diet...I have been excersising alot. I am down overall about 8 lbs from when I started on January 1st. I am still basically doing everything from phase 1, except I added cereal in the morning, I was getting so sick of eggs! I am eating the South Beach Whole Grain Crunch cereal, which actually only has about 4 grams of fiber per serving...I am finding this diet pretty easy to live with, except that I still want chocolate, but I haven't had any! I don't think I have ever gone this long without a cookie, piece of candy, or some other sweet thing. I now eat jello every night, and that is a nice treat for me. I think I have decided that the only time I will go off of this diet (cheat), it will be on a very special occasion, like my husband's birthday coming up in February...
