My weight seems to have been fluctuating between 205.4 and 204.2 in the last week and 1/2 or self. I've had some distractions that have kept me from going to the gym regularly and posting what I've been eating as far as RDI regularly as well. I haven't been over eating it appears. But I have been dining a few times at the casino where they have several choices and I sometimes take a little more than I might if I were eating at home and posting the calories for each and every item of food that I ate. I've had more pieces of pizza that I purchased at the casino lately and those are usually pretty high in calories. Nevertheless when I checked the weight on my home scale twice, it said 204.2 which was a pleasant surprise if correct. I get fluctuations sometimes between what I read on my home digital scale and the digital scale at Planet Fitness gym which gets me a little baffled even though they're both within a pound or so. I'm posting 205 today. Since I was at the casino and didn't get to the gym for what I think is 3 days now, I need to get back. Sometimes when I stop for short period, I'm challenged to get back into my better routine. I usually post on Monday, but I forgot to yesterday. 206 was my goal for yesterday, so I'm ahead of it if my reading was correct. By next Monday I need to be at 204. Maybe I'll try to get to 203. We'll see. I haven't eaten anything yet today and it's 12:45 PM

I consumed a few more calories that I wanted to for breakfast, a little over 500. I went to the gym and I wasn't sure I had the energy to do both cardio and resistance training, but I did a considerable amount of cardio, both stationary bike and treadmill. I burned off all my breakfast calories, but didn't have enough energy or something to do any resistance training. As has often been the case, the readings I get on my scales, both here and at Planet Fitness fluctuate enough that it leaves me a little confused. Yesterday when I left Planet Fitness it showed 204.2 pounds. When I went in today, it showed just under 206 pounds, but it was before the workout that said remember what the reading was after I left today. I think it was under 205, but I can't remember the fraction I did have a large meal last night, but it was still well under my RDI by over 30% yesterday. I'm going to check myself on my digital home scale and see what I get. It just read tool 4.2 pounds. I'D REALLY LIKE TO GET IT STABLE AT 204 BY MONDAY EVENING AS THAT'S THE DAY OF THE WEEK THAT I STARTED THIS PROGRAM A LITTLE OVER A MONTH AGO. That would be a little ahead of schedule as 2 pounds a week has been my goal since the beginning and reaching 206 by Monday was the predefined goal. Nevertheless, it would be real nice to double that.

It was interesting to learn that for every 1 gram of carbs you eat, the body will retain 3 grams of water or fluids, so that is why you might not eat much, but gain weight from eating carbs and drinking water, if carbs are reduced the fluid retention will also reduce. I read it on one of the posts from a member of fat called DO N OK which may account for why my weight seems to fluctuate so much from one day to the next. It may also be due to the fact that my scales are not properly calibrated either at home or at the gymnasium that I work out at. Nevertheless, an insight with noting.

When I woke up this morning, I weighed 206 pounds. Last night before I went to bed, I weighed 207.6 pounds according to my home digital scale. My scales are often giving me odd readings, but carbohydrates may be a factor in the fluctuations.
